South Korea is one of Asian most 'tech' country. Having want to learn and experience more in IT (Analytics), South Korea is an ideal place for me to experience how companies in these 'tech' country deal with big data. I am interested that i will be able to immerse myself in this environment.

Internship Opportunities

  • What types of internship opportunities interest you?

Interested in startup companies or existing companies that uses analytics to improve productivity and profits. I will like to experience and see for myself how these companies utilize data to their advantages. It will be great to be mentored in these companies.

  • Any ideal firms (based in South Korea) that you wishes to join?

No firms in particular. Hopefully one that allow me to experience Analytics (IT or Operational)

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

I think that many companies especially startups have not tapped into the great potential of IT analytics, whether it is operational, marketing etc. Ling Yi and me are exploring the idea of helping these start ups utilize IT Analytics.

  • What plan do you have in starting a business?

Currently, we are still in the stage of discussion. We definitely to see the idea put into action after doing more consideration and planning.

Past Experiences

  • Describe your past experience (entrepreneurship, or works in start ups etc

I have worked in numerous start up when i was in polytechnic. It was interesting to see how these start up operate with almost very little technology often because they have limited funding. Often, a person would be taking up multiple roles and are overloaded but still experience great work satisfaction.
