Why TSM South Korea?
Motivations For Joining TSM
I have never worked in a startup company, but i have always been interested in the workings and growth of one. Like how Facebook started off from a dorm room and eventually became a tech giant and IPO-ed.
Why South Korea?
South Korea has demonstrated incredible growth and become a high tech industrialised economy. And yes, it has one of the worlds fastest internet speeds... haha.
Over the past year, i have seen several articles which highlights South Korea as a tech hub and a breeding ground for startups, after having received financial injection and support from their government.
However, there seems to be a cultural / language barrier which are preventing their country's startups from being truly globally recognised in terms of technology..
I thus wish to join this TSM because i am interested in South Korea and its economy and tech industry's growth.

Any Ideal Firms In South Korea?
Honestly, i do not know much about the firms and job landscapes in South Korea.
Though i know these 4 big companies there- LG, Samsung, Sssangyong and Lotte
Starting A Business
Types Of Businesses Which Interest Me
Businesses with high growth potential, be it startups or large organizations. Finance / Technology industries preferred.
What plan do you have in starting a business?
As of now, i'd probably go the route i know- create an app to serve a unique identified need, make a company out of it, and sell that idea.
Past Experiences
I have never worked in a startup company, but i have always been interested in the workings and growth of one.
My latest internship was with SGX, in the Technology- Securities Clearing & Depository department.
In the past, i have worked in technology and finance departments in the hospitality sector.
