Why TSM South Korea?

  • What motivates you to join TSM?

I wanted to learn more about the startup scene in other countries and felt that South Korea would provide me with a good opportunity since South Korea has a vibrant entrepreneurial scene today.

  • Why pick South Korea?

I love the South Korea culture, the fashion, food, dance and everything about it! Hence, I decided to choose South Korea out of all the TSM options.

Internship Opportunities

  • What types of internship opportunities interest you?

Any internship that has to do with entrepreneurship and startups. I feel that the scope and variety of new learning opportunities are very great in those areas.

  • Any ideal firms (based in South Korea) that you wishes to join?

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

Businesses involving fashion, F&B and technology interest me.

  • What plan do you have in starting a business?

I am planning to be an entrepreneur and am still in the process of thinking of a feasible and innovative idea. I hope to set up a business that can integrate the technology aspect as I believe that moving forward in today's society, we have to integrate technology to match up to the advancements of today's world. However, I am still lacking in the area of technology and IT and would like to take this opportunity to widen my knowledge about it.

Past Experiences

  • Describe your past experience (entrepreneurship, or works in start ups etc)

I am highly interested in entrepreneurship and I have started my own online business when I was 14 years old. I also interned in SPRING Singapore and was placed in the Entrepreneurship Development Department. Through my internship, I was exposed to various opportunities such as the evaluation meetings of new startups to determine if a grant would be approved for them, startup fairs, mentor-mentee sessions for new startups etc.
