Why TSM Silicon Valley?
I have never been to a Western society before, neither Europe nor US. The life and culture there will be so much different in my imagination, but I always know that the real experience will only be more surprising and amazing! TSM to Silicon Valley will definitely be a great opportunities for me to gain my exposure.
Being someone who has passion in IT industry and plan to devote my time into this career, Silicon Valley is somewhere I have to visit in my life. So many great IT companies were born here and this trend is not stopping at all. You see fresh names emerge from here and get well-known by the whole world within really short period of time. I am very interested to know how the people, companies, culture and technologies work together here to create magic.

Dream companies?
Being one of the greatest IT company in the world, Google has strong competency in the area that they focus. However, Google does not have complacency like some big companies, I feel what drives them is its vision for their Eco-system. Google explores almost everything under the sun which can integrate into their system and benefit people, I believe this will definitely change the way we live in the future. And I surely wish to have the honor to be part of the team to achieve this great goal.
I am always very impressed by the great vision that Elon R. Musk has, no matter SpaceX, PayPal, Tesla Motors or others, he is the kind who wants to change the world by technology, and probably future technology. With this great leader, Tesla is being the pioneer in exploring Electronic Car. Although it is going to be a tough journey, but I believe it is leading us to the future, I will definitely be more than happy if I have a chance to work in this team.
Apple is a company which dares to do things differently. From Machintosh to ipod, iphone and ipad. It has been leading the trend and fashion. It develops its own system, own Eco-system, own phone design and so many other elements. It just likes to be different and people love it. I am really interested in how Apple operates to create so many creative ideas and is able to produce it to be something practical and popular. Hence, an internship opportunity will be great for me to learn and experience it.
I am a game lover and game development is surely something that can grab my attention and interest. There is no way to count out all the games under EA, battlefield is one of my favorite. Just by looking at battlefield4, the game design, graphics, smoothness and many other aspects indicate that this is done by a really strong team. If I have the chance, I will feel very passionate to join such team to develop great games in the future.
Besides these big companies, work in start up companies will give a very different experience and I enjoy it as well. It feels great to be in a small team which is dedicated, energetic and driven by passion. And many such companies in Silicon Valley have great potential, it will be interesting and enriching to go through this growth period with them together.

What plan do you have in starting a business? (list existing business)
I am currently forming a small team to develop our own mobile Apps, we are aiming for some Apps which can helps facilitate the flow of information between producers and consumers. The details are still under discussion.
Past Experiences
Not much experience in IT startups, but I helped friends with other businesses before and experienced the difficulties they faced, such as lack of manpower, capital, hard to reach to potential customers and others. This experience reminded me to be fully prepared before I start my mobile development plan with my team. Hope to gain more experience from this TSM.
