• Application project: to design and implement a security system which is used (or has the potential to be used) in practice

• Research project: 2~3 members, to implement and evaluate a research design

Examples:

• Application project: design and implement an authentication system including the client app and an authentication server

• Research project: implement an ABE (crypto algorithm) based messaging system.

Project deliverable:

• Application project: 1) a system prototype; 2) documentation of the system
• Research project: 1) a system prototype; 2) an implementation and evaluation report
