Singaporeans love to eat. And that love for food has translated into a very intense competition among restaurant owners in the city-state. So how does one gain an upper hand in such a competitive market? How does know their customer?
Increasingly the conversation has shifted to review sites such as eatigo and groupon for users to make a choice on where to go and what to do? Local businesses are consistently finding ways to attract customers online, and reviews serve as word of mouth advertising for them. It is with this context that our team decided to take on this project and analyze how local businesses can attract consumers. Specifically, our focus for this project will be to advise local businesses on what to be mindful of before opening shop!
