After the data preparation, first we will do an exploratory analysis into the shipment flow between each plants and distribution center. We will also try to use some data visualization methods to visualize the shipment flow.

Our main focus is to compare the shipment and production in different area and cost involved. Through this comparative analysis, we can identify some abnormal patterns, like the cost involved in a particular part is way too much expensive than it in other area. Thus J&J can better relocate their resources.

Following by that, we will also try to identify factors that influence the cost by building some mathematical models like linear regression or logistic regression. Then we will use some proper visualization tools to show each factor’s influence on cost .

All the analysis and visualizations mentioned above will be collected in a dashboard reporting system which will be user-friendly and can add value for J&J in a long term.
