Methodology

This section presents our data collection method, how the data are chosen and instrument to be used and their validation and the data analysis scheme which includes the application of statistical tools for treatment of data yielded from our client.


Data collection:

For our analysis of the sales sensitivity of the company, we will require latest data from the client. Through our communication with our client, we will obtain data from their server. Data include files that are related to sales invoices of the company from the year 2016 and 2017 (Up to the latest month). For verification purpose, we will obtain data from 2015 to examine and verify validity of data.


Organization of data:

After the collection of data from client, we will begin analyzing the files we have on hand. For our future analysis purpose, we will have to clean and transform the files with the help of various software.


Contextualization:

For us to understand how the different variables will influence sales of the company, we will develop models to explain the relationships among variables. This can be done with the help of software. Once relationships have been established, we will then make better conclusions and to communicate results to our client.
