5.0 Data Provided
5.1 Time Period of Data
In this project, a 3 year transactional data is being utilised.
5.2 Data Scope
The dataset acquired belong to 1 particular account and it includes timestamp, shipment, density, day-of-pickup, volume, ship-to-profile. We received 3 primary datasets for a particular Customer from Company X in the form of an excel file. The first dataset will be used in the Density and RpK component. As for (ii) and (iii) dataset, they were extracted from an existing excel model that analysed STP.
We ran summary statistics for all 3 datasets and they will be shown in the respective write ups.
(i) AccountX_2017.xlxs (RpK & Density)
This dataset is the raw data for Customer in the Year 2017 and it contains data from every part of the operational workflow as mentioned above. There are 153 columns and 85,164 rows.
Since there are 153 columns, the summary statistics for this dataset can be found in Appendix 1.
(ii) Projected Data (STP)
This dataset contains Customer’s contractual information for 2017. There are 14 columns and 1086 rows. (iii) Actual Shipped Data (STP)
This dataset is cleaned dataset from the STP excel model as mentioned above and it specifically contains only actual shipped volume for Customer. It consists of 25 columns and 34640 rows.
