Objectives/ Business Case

Why are we doing this test ?

  • Walk user through handover and gather final feedback

What are the benefits of doing this test?

  • Allow us to make any last min changes that they missed out.

What is the risk of not doing this test?

  • User might not know how to use the system
  • Not validating the result will also reduce the usefulness or accuracy of the system.

  1. Data upload of new sales data (Jan - Aug 2018)
  2. Maps

  4. Store page
  5. Marketing campaign recommendation
  6. Google IAP Login

Procedures Participants are to think aloud as they follow through the instructions given for the user testing. The team will be there to record down the participants. Participants are to leave their feedback at the end of their user testing. The team will conclude the user testing by asking the participants question with regards to their behaviours and thought process.

Actionable insights

-Location X has the highest customer base with higher purchase rate

Action: Focus targeted advertising on Location X


-The median age for Scanteak customer hover between X value and Y Value

Action: Targeted facebook advertising for people between the age of X and Y Value


- Revenue generate by Location X cluster is consistent between X timing and Y Timing.

Action: Tai tai doesn’t have a fix shopping hours, increase manpower count and advertising for those hours


- X,Y,Z has the highest sales for weekdays and Y,Z,X for weekends

Action: Increase marketing campaign effort, observe if there’s any impact to the revenue


- “Item X” provide the highest revenue and sales is the highest on Weekends Xpm at Y Location

Action: Deploy best item X sales personnel to closing shift on weekends and set a different working hours for personnel working in Y Location.


-Location X sales peak at Y pm and Z pm for weekdays and A pm for weekends

Action: Make changes to the working hours of the salesperson based on the sale peak period.


- Day X and Day Y has the lowest revenue respectively

Action: Reduce manpower for X and Y and focus on other day


- Customer are promotion driven, they buy whatever is on promotion.

Action: Drive more campaign and product bundle based on the marketing planner tools


- Wherever they put a showroom, sales are much higher

E.g Location X, Y

Z,K being outlier, doesn’t have a showroom but sales are high.

Action: In the midst of searching for new showroom
