Project Description
EcoPlanning , an Integrated Supply Chain and Carbon Modelling tool is a platform to help organisations make appropriate decisions balancing business and sustainability concerns. Over the years, an increasing number of organisations are including carbon management into their supply chain planning processes at strategic, tactical and operational level to help minimise carbon emission.
Currently, the carbon tools available in the market focuses on reporting and measuring of direct and indirect Greenhouse Gas (GHS) emissions as well as providing historical data for tracking against sustainability targets. These tools are not linked back to the traditional supply chain such as costs and service levels.
Therefore, our tool aims to help supply chain decision makers to have a quick assessment on the impact on carbon, costs and service level. Users of this tool will be able to create multiple alternative scenarios by varying the network design to determine the cost, service level and carbon performance within the network.
