Flying Chalks – One-stop platform for Overseas Exchange Our team aims to extend the functionalities of Flying Chalk’s existing web application that allows students to seamlessly plan their overseas studies, benefit from shared experiences and connect with others with ease. Building upon it, will develop two simple algorithms, one on “Suggested Connections” and another on “Buddy Program”. Ngee Ann Polytechnic Fitness Mobile Application. Through the use of QR codes placed at key landmarks and monitoring of steps taken, it will calculate and track fitness statistics such as BMI and calories burnt. The URA-Sponsored Mobile Cycling Application is specifically designed for use in Singapore.

Users would be able to leverage on more complete and wholesome data to plan their routes and navigation. Cycling-related amenities (such as toilets, shelters, cyclist-frequented cafes) would be displayed on maps for users to plan accordingly. Cycling Events can be created in the app for users to view and join, which would also allow the organisers to monitor the locations of participants. Other features include route-sharing, notification of route-related information and tracking of cycling metrics.

Using the data collected from the aforementioned features, analytics would be accessible only to URA users to track cyclist behaviours and routes.

The PEAPOD program aims at harnessing, developing, and transferring new human-aware AI technologies and capabilities in a people-oriented, adaptive, operational platform to facilitate preventive, participatory, predictive, and personal (P4) decision making in the continuum of care, especially for the underprivileged elderly in Singapore. Two of the main objectives are to: a) Establish a holistic research and development platform to facilitate research, integration, and transfer of data acquisition, data management, and AI decision analytics technologies for supporting human-centric, cost-effective wellness b) Implement an adaptive, evolving, and open testbed to enable “Care Support as a Service” (CareSaaS) for different information processing, integration, analytic, and decision support components to be easily and securely integrated, adapted, deployed, and updated by social and care organizations to provide and coordinate caregiving and health services, especially for the underprivileged elders with minimal family caregiving support;
