What motivates me to join TSM? TSM provides students like me to experience a learning environment unlike in Singapore. Despite being one week short trip, I feel that this is an opportunity for me to enjoy my stint in school as a student through overseas learning , before I graduate as a working adult.Furthermore, TSM allows me to learn about the entrepreneurship in the start-ups in South Korea
Why pick South Korea? Korea is a country well known for their technology advancement, the last time I visited Korea was during my secondary school times, with the purpose of leisure in mind.Korea being a fast paced country and early adopters of technology, I believe the exposure to be able to experience first-hand innovation and creativity would be beneficial to me as I can learn from and emulate theirs efforts when I am back in Singapore.
What types of businesses interest you? - Food - Business Innovations - Event Planning - Human Resource
Whats plan do you have in starting a business? I have always been interested in the food industry, as my family and my relatives are into the food and beverage industry. I would like to be able to utilize technology and improve the way the F&B industry operations and hope to see little changes that would benefit everybody!
I went for an OCSP, Project KHMER II in Cambodia during my summer break in Year 1, and assisted the Logistics Director in ensuring the required logistics are sufficient and in place during the whole project.In addition, being an education leader to teach the children basic educational materials which are beneficial for them.
I had an internship with Singapore Pools, under the department Business & IT in Year 2. My experience in Singapore Pools covered a few aspects in terms of UAT testing, process documentation, project implementation and market research through leveraging of new Internet Of Things(IOT) technologies
