Why TSM Silicon Valley?

What motivates you to join TSM?
TSM will provide me with the opportunity to learn about the factors which are critical to the success of a startup. I believe that the experience and insight gained from the TSM will be beneficial for me to create a startup in the future.

Why pick Silicon Valley?
Silicon Valley is a technological hub that many countries are trying to emulate. It attracts the brightest people in the world due to its innovative culture. Hence, I believe that I can gain more experience and insight as compared to other places.

Internship Opportunities

What types of internship opportunities interest you?
I am interested in internships that deal with data analytics.

Any ideal firms (based in Silicon Valley) that you wishes to join?

Starting a business

What types of business interest you?

  • E-commerce
  • Automation of application release

What plan do you have in starting a business?
I plan to spend sometime to familiarise with the automation release softwares. The softwares are easily accessible on the internet. After gaining the necessary technical skills, I will create a startup and collaborate with Serena Software Pte Ltd which has quite a number of projects. I will do the small scale projects first to gain more credibility and get exposed to real life situations before proceeding to doing larger scale projects.

Past Experiences

Describe your past experience (entrepreneurship, or works in start ups, etc) Having worked in Serena Software Ptd Ltd and dealing with some of the projects, I realised that many companies today are still manually deploying web application to the production server. This is a mundane process and incurs unnecessary labour costs to the company. Hence, I believe that market for automation of application release for vendors is still quite untapped.
