Why TSM South Korea?

I would like to take this opportunity to expand my horizon and learn how start-up companies in South Korea operate. Besides, it is also an eye-opener for me to get to know how starting a company in South Korea differs from in Singapore. I would also like to know how start-ups get funding, market their products and shaping their company cultures.

Internship Opportunities

The internship opportunities that interest me are companies that deal with Mobile Technology, Cloud Computing, providing IT services and doing Information Technology Research and Development. My ideal internship companies are Nexon and LG Corporation. I hope by having this internship opportunity, I would take away some useful insights and experiences that would greatly help me to pave my path towards setting up my own start-up in near future.

My Experiences

I am currently a Mobile and Web Application freelance developer to support myself for paying school fees and daily expenses. I enjoy doing it as along the way, I have met great people, learnt awesome stuff and most importantly gotten experience in working with people in real business world. Currently, I am still developing my own portfolio website which showcases all my works, so meanwhile you may view my skills and past experiences from the LinkedIn link above.

In my academic year 1, I started working with a local start-up, BillPin. BillPin provides a simple and elegant bill-splitting tool to keep your IOUs easier to track. BillPin launched their iPhone app in August 2012. Through a friend, I got to know that the team was looking for an Android developer. That started my journey with the awesome local start-up. I helped the team to develop the Android BillPin app and it was launch in January 2013. Subsequently, I joined the team to release new features and do some maintenance works to ensure the availability of the service on Android platform.
