Why TSM?

What I motivates you to join TSM?
My first experience as a software engineer at a student-led startup SolanaFM impacted me greatly on how I viewed startups. I got the opportunity to see first-hand how a startup grows and the unique challenges it faces. If I were given the chance to go for TSM, I would like to visit Japanese startups and see what allows them to thrive in Japan.

Where would you like to visit?
Softbank - A multinational conglomerate providing telecommunications, internet, robotics and financial services Sushi Swap - A web3 startup that runs decentralized exchange platform on the Ethereum blockchain Rakuten - An e-commerce company that offers online shopping, financial services and have also recently branched out into streaming services Suntory Distillery - A multinational beverage company that produces a wide range of beverages and is famous and known around the world for its whisky

Starting a business

What types of business interest you?
Businesses that interest me are those that are pushing the forefront of technology. I think a great example of this would be blockchain and cryptocurrency. As seen in Solana, which is around 2 years old, and Ethereum, which is 8 years old, these technologies have led to a lot of innovation and improvement in the space. While this industry does face many barriers, I am excited about what it will bring in the next couple of years and would like to be a part of it!

What plans do you have in starting a business?
At the moment there I do not have any intentions to start a business; however I would like to think that could change. My current goal is to explore the start up scene in Japan and through that, gain inspiration by finding out what inspired others to pursue their own businesses.
