Why TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
I have always been interested in entrepreneurship, having started 2 e-commerce side hustles during National Service. The 2 e-commerce side hustles I started were Fulfilment-by-Amazon (FBA) business and a dropshipping business.
For the FBA business, I handled everything starting from searching for suppliers on Alibaba to shipping my products to an Amazon warehouse in the US.
Joining TSM allows me to put on the entrepreneurial mindset again and interact with like-minded people to learn more about what is required to start a successful business.
- Where would you like to visit?
Nintendo, Rakuten
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Businesses selling software-as-a-service (SaaS) as I feel that this is a very scalable and profitable business that can take off rapidly but the initial starting phase can be difficult.
I am also interested in e-commerce businesses given how much easier it is to sell products online in recent years.
- What plans do you have in starting a business?
I plan to have a go again at the Fulfilment-by-Amazon (FBA) business again even though I failed the first time. However, this time, I would do a deeper analytical research using my IS and Economics knowledge about what product is good to sell.
Additionally, I am open to starting a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company should an opportunity arise.
