Why Virtual TSM?
What motivates me to join TSM
I have always been intrigued at how entrepreneurs who come up with successful startups in the technology industry. A Korean drama I watched, Start Up, paints the journey of a startup company, and hints to Korea as a technologically advanced country that welcomes innovations. This has made me curious and fond of the wonders of South Korea, the global innovation hub. I find that Koreans do not shy away from disrupting the norms and their courage and confidence never fail to inspire me to do the same. Further, the high demands for social media, communications, delivery (food, grocery, cleaning services etc.), payment and skincare have garnered quite the attention from local and foreign businesses who have built countless solutions to meet the needs of Korean consumers. I would thus like to learn how creative and innovative solutions are made to tackle the needs and wants of Koreans while tapping into the technological potential of Korea. I would also like to observe how the urban and rural areas of Korea complement each other so well, and on that note, how residents in rural areas are welcoming new technologies, such as agricultural technologies.

Seoul: Mapo-gu (where the Digital Media City lies), Nowon-gu (to see Seoul National University of Science and Technology)
Starting a business
What types of business interest me
I am particular interested in food & beverage industry as well as B2B and B2C platforms. I believe that these areas serve a lot of potential and base to connect us all around the world and meet our various needs and wants. Some technologies used that are popular in these solutions would include Blockchain, IoT, Analytics, and Mobile Apps. I am also particularly interested in how these solutions are designed (UI/UX) and how these designs, on top of the use cases and value propositions, come about (product management).
My plans for starting a business
I am quite interested in starting a business sometime later as I constantly think of new innovative ideas that I would like to create and share with the rest. However, as of now I am focusing on exploring the different ventures of technology and honing my skills before considering if I would like to start a business.
