What keeps you ticking?

Having challenges is what motivates me.

As someone who is passionate in sports, I like competition, and having a challenge gives me something to work towards, as overcoming the challenge gives me a sense of satisfaction. The challenge does not have to be something major, such as picking up a new skill or learning how to use a new software, but it can be something as simple as solving a question on an assignment. I believe that most challenges and problems can be solved, and I do not believe in giving up. This is because I do not like to leave things halfway done, no matter how hard it is. The harder the challenge, the more satisfaction there would be after overcoming it.

In addition, we face challenges every day, and it is a common occurrence in our lives. Thus, I believe that the first step in overcoming challenges would be to look at it positively, and see it as a form of motivation, instead of looking at it as something that slows down the learning process. I also feel that challenges are beneficial, as there is always something that we can takeaway from the process of overcoming them, and eventually overcoming it. Overcoming each challenge is like a mini achievement for me, even though it might not be the end goal. It motivates me and drives me to do better, as it gives me something to be proud of.
