Why TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
TSM would be a chance for me to broaden my horizons in the world of IT. I feel that my knowledge and experiences in the IT sector are quite limited, especially in the business aspect.
I have learnt a lot of theory in my classes, done a few projects in school, and have even had the chance to work as an IT intern here in Singapore. However, I would like to learn more than what Singapore has to offer.
I believe that TSM would give me the opportunity to experience what technology is like in other countries, whose cultures and lifestyles differ from what I am used to here in Singapore. Learning about how technological entrepreneurship works in foreign countries would no doubt be an enriching experience for me.
- Where do you NOT want to travel for TSM?
I have no preference, I'm sure I would learn a lot regardless of where I go.
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
- Businesses who use technology to aid the underprivileged - I am interested in using technology to improve the lifestyles of people, especially the underprivileged.
- Businesses who use technology to create entertainment - I am interested in how technology can used to complement the entertainment industry.
Businesses exist to make a profit, but I believe that it is in how they use their technology that makes certain businesses interesting.
- What plan do you have in starting a business?
Right now planning to start a business seems like a monumental goal. I'm hoping that my experience during the TSM can teach me more about it.
Past Experiences (optional)
- List your startup experiences
Currently none, but I am always open to trying!
What keeps you ticking?
- Say something about you
I'd like to use my knowledge and skills in IT to enrich the lives of others in the future. This is why I like learning about the different ideas and innovations out there. There are so many interesting ideas, and I would like to add to them in the future!
