Why Virtual TSM?
What motivates you to join TSM?
TSM is a great chance for me to broaden my horizons and realise the world of technology and the influence of technology in other industries and sectors. I am also interested to see what others are doing to help solve problems and the views and cultures of different companies. TSM is an amazing opportunity to broaden my network and maybe one day I can work under or work with these companies.
Where would you like to visit virtually?
- China
China has become such a huge technology powerhouse in the recent decade, they have many breakthroughs in multiple industries by innovating using technology. Their technology has influenced the world most notably the recent trend of "Tiktok"-ing amongst youngsters.
- India
India also have huge technological advancements recently which lead to many entrepreneurs in the technological industry with successful start-ups and some of them even achieving billions in valuation.
Starting a business
What types of business interest you?
Technology that will help make sustainability easier. Other areas I am interested in are logistics, fashion and design.
What plan do you have in starting a business? (list existing business)
I've worked in a few start ups and this is the common cycle that they used to start their business.
Problem > Understand > Learn > Innovate > Create > Feedback > Improve
It is important to internalise the problem and understand what the user actually need instead of what I think they need, learn their current process and innovate to help them complete the process efficiently. Then, create a minimum viable product to start off and improve as users give feedback.
My friends and I are in the midst of planning and looking for partners to start an application to promote sustainability and to keep track and suggest small habits that will help you can incorporate into your daily lives to build a sustainable lifestyle! Many details are still in the works so stay tuned~ ^^
