Hi everyone, I am Felix. I am a year 4 business student doing a double major in Strategic Management and Analytics. I will be graduating in Year 5 Sem 1. I am a strong believer that "Opinions, especially when opposing, bring us closer to the truth" and enjoy robust discussions with people. I really enjoy eating and working out as well.

Why TSM Silicon Valley
What motivates you to join TSM?
I believe that the future lies in creating new technologies or applying currently existing technologies to create value. Given relatively recent ground breaking technologies like Blockchain, AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and so on, I want to visit the technology and innovation epicentre. I wish to be inspired by and exposed to interesting technologies and its applications. Ultimately, I wish to start a company of my own that can disrupt current incumbent companies.
Why pick Silicon Valley?
Firstly, it was due to Silicon Valley belonging to a different continent with a very different culture. I would like to experience for myself what makes USA's culture distinct. Secondly, being the technology and innovation capitol of the world, I would also want to interact with locals there to understand what makes them tick, what makes them hungry, how do they work, what it takes to succeed. Lastly, starting a company of my own is an option I am considering. I believe the networks I gain will come in useful in the future.

▪ Implemented 2 nation-wide projects in the healthcare industry impacting close to 500,000 citizens
▪ Project 1 – risk and prediction model: Trained 2 operations teams on contingencies, remedies and standard operating procedures, thereby increasing operational readiness
▪ Project 2 – analytics platform: Designed the platform by translating business requirements from the clients into 4 design documents and supervised its development with the off-shore team

▪ Led a team of 3 for a 9-week strategic review project that successfully increased revenues 7-fold, after 3 years sustained of losses in the Education industry
▪ Formulated a 2-year business plan by conducting online research and interviewing internal stakeholders
▪ Achieved buy-in from the clients by bridging cultural differences and varying perspectives/objectives.

▪ Conducted two pro bono consultin projects for two different charity organisations
▪ First was a strategic review project that was in response to the rapidly changing social sector landscape
