1) Business Development Executive Intern Coachreg(Startup company) April 2014 – Present (7 months) I am currently developing marketing strategies for a brand-new educational online portal. My responsibility is to build a strong brand image for our portal, so as to broaden our market reach. To do so, I have helped to create appealing website content, through in-depth research and analysis of the Singapore, India and China markets. Invaluable takeaways from this opportunity include strengthened marketing skills and broad knowledge about the many different forms of marketing, especially social media marketing.


2) ZJU-SMU-NCCU Joint Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum Programme (SMU) Zhejiang University entrepreneurship program May 2013 – May 2013 (1 month) I attended the ZJU-SMU-NCCU Joint Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum Programme (SMU) to explore the creation of innovative companies, in collaboration with the students of Zhe Jiang University. During the trip, we learnt different aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities available in China.


3) SPRING SingaporeProject Officer at SEEDS Investment department SPRING Singapore January 2013 – March 2013 (3 months) -SPRING SEEDS Capital Pte Ltd (SSC), the investment arm of SPRING Singapore, manages the SPRING Start-up Enterprise Development Scheme (SPRING SEEDS), an equity-based co-financing option for Singapore-based start-ups with innovative products and/or processes with intellectual content and strong growth potential across international markets. • Learned how to write timely proposals for Companies seeking for co-investment funding and gained a better understanding in terms of the problems these start-ups face • Gained practical experience on how these fundings are being approved • Attended innovation fairs and networking sessions with start-up companies, which have made me a more confident contributor to a conversation due to my interactions with both companies seeking for funding, and my fellow colleagues. • Completed and presented an entire project which served creating awareness for my department (SEEDS) in SPRING


4) JFDI winter internship( To be done on Decemeber 2014) -I attend networking session every Friday at blk 71, to interact with entrepreneurs and investors from all over the world.I have also secured the opportunity to work closely with the general manager at this accelerator this coming December.


5) Talks and events related to entrepreneurship I have a strong passion for entrepreneurship and attended many various workshop such as Power of Selling and Workshop on new business building, Facebook marketing seminars for entrepreneurs and even successful executed a business venture regarding the sales of CNY Goodies to Overseas Community Project Group in SMU for their fund-raising program.
