Why TSM Korea?

I see TSM as a rare opportunity for undergraduates to explore start-ups and companies beyond Singapore. The trip to Korea would certainly be an eye-opener as we get to interact directly with the company. I hope to gain some insights on the challenges faced and keys to success from those interactions and observations via this course. Moreover, I believe that Korea's success in penetrating into the global market in the past decade is definitely not by sheer luck. The rise of Samsung, Nexon and the entire Korea entertainment industry is inspiring and I am interesting in in finding out how their culture and economic structure constitute to their success.
