South Korea shows is similarities to Singapore. Being poor in the endowed natural resources, it fought hard to survive and remain competitive in the 1970s where commodity trading and manufacturing was spurred rapid industrialization. Only when it turned to the export industry did their growth accelerate. With key companies like LG and Samsung leading the way in more than just the tech field (but also construction, electronics, entertainment, etc.) did the country lead to a hub and metropolis, with high-tech and innovation causing them to surpass as a prominent emergent city. This breakthrough is lauded by many, and I am impressed by this feat.

Why TSM South Korea?

My motivation to embark on this Study Mission
With time, entrepreneurs gain experience. The best, and fastest way, to attain maximum experience and a minimum age is to listen. In this study mission, companies pitch and explain their motives and desires to better themselves and the world. I enrolled to learn and be immersed in the first hand account by these startups and also the established market players.

South Korea
