Why TSM South Korea?
What motivates me to join TSM?
I believe participating in TSM could be an eye opening experience for me to gain a better understanding on entrepreneurship.I have seen friends who have succeeded and failed in entrepreneurship, so it would be great to learn from the successful entrepreneurs in starting up and manage their business. Lastly, TSM is able to expose me to business operations in various start-up companies which is something that SMU won't be able to provide in the in-class lecture.
Why pick South Korea?
We have seen many South Korea products in the market, ranging from cars to mobile phones. In the last decade, South Korea has been doing well not only in imports, but exports too. With such a strong performance in the country's economy, it is hard not to agree that successful start-ups play a part in promoting strong industrialisation.
