Why TSM?
As someone who has limited experience with start-ups but a lot of interest in how they are conducted, I'd like to be able to
gain both a wide and in-depth perspective in how and why they work, and being able to observe an overseas start-up would help achieve those goals precisely. Not only will I be able to understand how businesses work (from the ground-up), but I will also
understand how businesses value-add to their consumer base.
Starting a business
I am more interested in SMEs rather than larger enterprises, and I am particularly interested in businesses related to
the social services sector, and how they use technology to help bridge gaps between people.
I aspire to start a business relating to helping small-scale businesses go online, and helping them be more tech-savvy to reach a wider consumer-base (especially in Excel, because Excel is God's greatest gift to humans since sliced bread).
Past Experiences
I have no experience with start-ups, but I have interned with an SME that was starting to build an online presence,
so I am familiar with that process. I am definitely open to learning more!
What keeps you ticking?
I aspire to one day own a dog of my own, and in order to do that I need my own house because my mom is allergic to dogs. So I first aspire to get a good job that I like, then get a good house for my dog, and then get a dog. And then I will repeat the process as I adopt more dogs, until they die or I die.
