I do not yet have a clear business plan for the future, but I know for sure that I deeply enjoy startup culture after spending 3 months at INTELLLEX, a rising LegalTech startup, having been amongst 18 students selected from more than 600 applicants to be part of the SGInnovate Summation Programme. | ||

Why TSM New York City?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
TSM is an exceptional opportunity to connect with energetic and innovative people in the technology space while being exposed to the startup world in a different country. Each of us can contribute in shaping the program towards what we hope to achieve, in addition to learning about the similarities or differences in challenges faced by tech startups across the Pacific. I also intend to take up an internship/work attachment at an overseas startup and have applied for IIE's Global Innovation Immersion.
- Why pick New York City?
NYC presents a thriving tech startup scene built on a unique ecosystem with a strong talent pool from nearby top tier universities and healthy investments from both the private and public sectors. Whilst Silicon Valley may still be The Tech Hub in most people's minds, NYC stands out to me because of its basis of beginning by solving a problem rather than working backwards from new technology. It also doesn't hurt that NYC is abundant in arts and culture :)
