Why Virtual TSM?

  • What motivates you to join TSM?

I wish to understand and gain exposure to the current technology that is in use globally. Although I have learnt and utilise a variety of technologies in school, however, I do not have a sufficient understanding of the technology used in the pratical industry, especially outside of Singapore. Also, as I am interested to do a startup so I hope that through TSM, I will be able to gain knowledge from my exposure with the current technopreneurship worldwide.

  • Where would you like to visit virtually?

I would like to visit Silicon Valley, the home to dozens of major technology, software, and internet companies. Silicon Valley is a famous place for technology start-ups as well as successful MNCs. I have also heard from one of my professors who had told me that a Harvard student can easily gain million dollars of investments for their start-up just by doing a pitch at Silicon Valley.

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

I am interested in software-based technology that can help its users in gaining productivity as Singapore is working towards a smart nation and the government is promoting businesses to use these technologies.

  • What plan do you have in starting a business?

I plan to form a small team with a group of individuals with different skills but with the same motivation and goals. I believe that a start-up needs not only skilled IT technicians but also people with different skill sets and forte to complement each team member's weakness.

Past Experiences (optional)

Imperial College London, Silicon Valley, Stanford University, University of California (Berkeley),

What keeps you ticking?
