Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
I would like a hands-on experience researching and planning an educational trip that would allow us to learn more about tech startups in a country that is more "traditional". It would be interesting to explore the startup scene in a slowing economy too. (That and it clears a depth elective.)
- Where would you like to visit?
Tokyo's tech hubs, as I don't hear much about them.
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Business with core capabilities surrounding the collection and use of data. An example would be Bloomberg, which I had the pleasure of visiting recently. It is a Fintech company that aggregates financial data from >500 public sources and sells this aggregated data (alongside their own analytical tools) as their main product.
- What plans do you have in starting a business?
No concrete plans for now, but keeping an open mind to entrepreneurship opportunities!
