* What motivates you to join TSM?

The first thing that attracted me to join this TSM is really the objective of this TSM being heavily focused on entrepreneurship and startups. The reason is simple. I love entrepreneurship. I love the thoughts of learning and gaining more exposure about startups.I love the thought of me being a useful and valuable hand to those startups one day.Because I love this so much, a promise I made to myself is to capture any and every opportunity I can get to gain exposure to anything related to entrepreneurship and startups, be it on a national and international level. Through these experiences, I hope to develop myself until I am able to become a value-added support tool for these startups, be it in terms of funding or business advices, which is crucial to their survival. That being said, this TSM encapsulated exactly what I am passionate about and I have decided to take this leap of faith and sign up for this.

* Why pick South Korea?
+
[[File:About myself Infographic.png|thumb|Caption text]]
Korea has always been one of the most technologically advanced nations. However, recently, there has been a renewed interest in entrepreneurship and I am amazed at the pace of change and the hunger with which local founders are embracing the challenge and opportunity presented by entrepreneurship.I am very interested to go to South Korea and see how the culture and environment has changed which suddenly sparked off this strong interest in entrepreneurship among the locals.

I would definitely be interested to intern in a startup ,especially when they are in their SEEDS stage, particularly when i get to work with younger individuals earlier in their careers.  Nowhere else will you get the diverse set of experiences and visibility that you can get in an early-stage startup. Also, i will be interested to work in an accelerator because it gives me the experience and exposure on how these accelerators help startups refine their business ideas, pitch their ideas and get investors to invest in them.

I am currently developing marketing strategies for a brand-new educational online portal. My responsibility is to build a strong brand image for our portal, so as to broaden our market reach. To do so, I have helped to create appealing website content, through in-depth research and analysis of the Singapore, India and China markets. Invaluable takeaways from this opportunity include strengthened marketing skills and broad knowledge about the many different forms of marketing, especially social media marketing.

I attended the ZJU-SMU-NCCU Joint Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum Programme (SMU) to explore the creation of innovative companies, in collaboration with the students of Zhe Jiang University. During the trip, we learnt different aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities available in China.

- I need to make sure the founders have similar goals about what they hope to achieve from the startup. Be it make more money, make more friends, scale to international level. There must be a certain parity in their objectives or there will definitely be a fair amount of conflict in the near future, which would potentially destroy the entire startup.

-As mentioned above, I need to know my job scope in the startup when I apply for it so apart from being able to value-add to the business, I need to know how much I will learn and gain out of this internship opportunity

• Learned how to write timely proposals for Companies seeking for co-investment funding and gained a better understanding in terms of the problems these start-ups face
 +
• Gained practical experience on how these fundings are being approved
 +
• Attended innovation fairs and networking sessions with start-up companies, which have made me a more confident contributor to a conversation due to my interactions with both companies seeking for funding, and my fellow colleagues.
 +
• Completed and presented an entire project which served creating awareness for my department (SEEDS) in SPRING

&The most important factor that I consider very seriously is my ability to work together with the team. Startup teams are usually a very close-knit group.  There’s nowhere to hide.  Hence if I don’t get along with just about everyone there, life is going to be hard. It will also cripple both the experience and learning benefit I can gained out of the startup

Once these criterias has been fufilled, i wouldnt mind joining a startup, even though it might not be profitable yet because it is still at a very young stage. I believe in growing together with these startups and working together with them to achieve the same dream
