Why TSM South Korea

What motivates you to join TSM?

As Korea is well known for their technology advancement. I believe being able to attend a study mission there will definitely be an eye opener for me. As it open the door for me to visit the high tech start-ups. There will definitely be a lot to learn from the industry leaders.

Why pick South Korea?

It is one of the country that I have always dream to visit and korea is one of the countries known for their technology advancement. I believe that I will benefit a lot from this study mission in korea.

Plan in starting a business

• I am currently in a phase where I am exploring possibilities, and constantly looking out for opportunities to learn through experience. As I believe the only way to understand the business enough is through experience.

• My goal is to first gain a few years of experience working and understanding the process and ways Startups and SMEs plan and manage their business before building my own business.

Past Experiences

Description of Past Experience

• I have been working part-time at a SME, a Service provider Company since 17. The experience taught me the benefits of starting of as a ground level staff, as I progress it helps me to understand the business and better manage it.

• Had a 6 months internship at a* Data Storage Institute(DSI) working with servers and virtualized software. During the internship I was tasked to work with a team exploring virtualized softwares and present on our progress weekly. My experience with DSI taught me the importance of server management due to the limited floor space.

• Last summer I had an internship with a local startup that provides ERP system to SMEs, I am currently working part-timer. My experience with OBS provided me with the experience the process of running a solution provider company.
