Why TSM South Korea?

I believe it will be refreshing to learn through practical first-hand experiences and exposure to people working in the industry. In addition, I feel that I will be able to learn things that I don't get a chance to do so in a local classroom.
In addtion, I haven't been to South Korea before, which I feel will broaden my perspectives if I were offered a chance to go on this study mission. With no expectations and prior first-hand knowledge in this country I will be highly receptive to the environment there.

Internship Opportunities

I'm pretty open-minded towards internships; but I personally prefer those that enable me to have first-hand experiences on the development phase of a prototype/product.
Moreover, I hope to have a chance to intern at companies which are more tuned towards database or software development. e.g. LG Electronics

Starting a business

I have an interest towards businesses related to Database designing, software development or those similar to IT consultant services. As for a business plans, I have nothing solid or confirmed at the moment.

Past Experience

  • Worked in a Game Office before i.e. GAMBIT-MIT Game Lab.
  • In a group consisting of diverse roles (Programmer, Audio Designer, Artists etc.); was placed in-charge of breaching communication within the group
  • Learned that miscommunication is a common bottleneck in companies with specialised departments/roles; gained vital experience in mitigating/overcoming miscommunication as a result
