Sponsor Background

Singapore Pools, a non-profit organisation (NPO), is established by Singapore government back in 23rd May 1968. The main purpose of Singapore Pools establishment is to act as a safe channel for our gamblers to gamble, and also to combat illegal gambling, which has caused a paramount of social issues like crime and violence during the 1960s. In essence, it aims to be a socially responsible gambling operator.

Today, Singapore Pools’ operates in almost every corner of Singapore. Their wide array of sales channel includes outlets at football clubs to retail agents at provision shops or supermarkets. In addition, its product offerings include 4D, TOTO, Singapore Sweep and Sports Betting (Football and motor racing).

In recognition of its effort as a socially responsible gambling operator, the World Lottery Association (WLA) has been awarded Singapore Pools with the Level 4 Certification within the WLA Responsible Gaming Framework.

Off the gambling scene, Singapore Pools is also a major contributor during Singapore’s nation building years. As an NPO, Singapore Pools has funded several important architectures, such as the first National Stadium, the Indoor Stadium, and Esplanade. It also redistributes its earnings to for other purposes, such as charity and community developments.

In all, Singapore Pools has remained true to its purpose, and without the existence of Singapore Pools, the benefits it provides would not be possible.
