There are separate two datasets that will be used for the project:
- OPMS data which is retrieved from global central database, stored in .mdb format. Totally, we have 21 sets of OPMS data, ranging from Jan 2016 to Sep 2017, occupying 32.9 GB of space.
- ODD data that is used for operational reporting
Due to data confidentiality, the data will not be shared but a brief description of data will be made instead.
ODM data are delivery transaction data, which includes the sender's address, receiver's address, parcel weight and many more related information for a single delivery transaction.
ODD data are data that forms a subset of ODM data which includes the delivery ID, sender's and receiver's address and such. However, it also contains additional information about the status of the delivery which could include if the delivery was done, the date and time the parcel was signed. It also includes information on the reason for delivery failures if the parcel was not delivery, such reasons commonly could be due to bad addresses, receiver moved or is not longer present (company closed and such) and various other possible reasons.
