Work Scope

Our sponsor requires us to prepare a suite of analytical modules based on the shipping data which will serve a wide variety of purposes.

  1. Lane Seasonality: Determine seasonality trends per lane (Origin to Destination city)
  2. Density Trend Analysis: Helps to understand the physical properties of the goods being shipped which can optimize selection of transportation modes and reduce shipping costs
  3. On Time Performance(OTP) Latency: Determine the lead time for shipments and the possible reasons for it.
  4. Capacity Planner: Forecast demand for the number of shipments and the volume of shipments to better plan the capacity required on a monthly basis.
