| − | The SROI concept is a novel way to measure non-financial transactions that occur between people and organisations. It quantifies work and effort put in by people who do not receive any monetary compensation for the work that they do. Volunteer work falls in nicely in this category, and any resource that is put in within the context of doing social good without a monetary reward tied to it.
