Overview
XYZ is an online content creator that focuses on lifestyle stories for Singaporeans. XYZ gives readers trusted information on what to do in and out of their country. It is half editorial based and half community based where Singaporeans can upload their own reviews and share their opinions about everything Singapore.
Motivation
Currently, XYZ makes use of a unique ideation process for its content creation. However, we feel that this process can be improved with a data driven approach. By creating an actual documentation of what elements make up a good idea based on their historical data, XYZ will have a more structured ideation system that can be used to supplement their existing processes. This would increase the quality of ideas that are generated, that would translate to better articles and an improved bottom line for XYZ.
Objectives
- To analyse Facebook Insights data and make recommendations based on findings
- Geographic visualisation of likes by country (start/end) + Gender breakdown
- Analysis: What topics posted on Facebook perform the best?
- Key takeaway: these are the topics to focus on for the time being
- Analysis: Organic reach vs Paid reach
