The Project Proposal Report is a document that highlights the following information:

  • Business Problem and Objective. (stay focus and clear)
  • Motivation and scope of the project.
  • Recommended solutions to the business problem (2 or 3 solutions)
  • Project timeline..
  • Limitations and Assumptions (state clearly).

    Students may handout a printed document that states the limitations and assumptions

  • Methodology for the chosen solution.

    Students are not expected to display high level of technicality, although some amount of technical expertise and know-how will be helpful.

  • ROI analysis.

    Students are expected to briefly highlight possible ROI that could arise from the solution. This is a good practice to train students in focusing business fundamentals and drive

  • Impact analysis.

    Students are expected to show how the solution impacts the client as a whole

  • Possible avenues for extension of the scope of project.

    Students may state some possible avenues of extensions whereby these extensions follow-up the recommended solution.

  • Acknowledgement and credit

The students are expected to submit the proposal report by the stipulated deadline. The wikipage should also be updated by then.
