Overview
Local enterprises constituted more than 90 per cent of the total number of establishments. They are an important pillar of our economy. Much research has shown that these enterprises account for job creation, innovation and entrepreneurship in many sectors. Enhancing their success is critical to the future economic development of Singapore. In this project, a Shiny web application is created with the business start-ups in mind. It integrates three types of analysis: Survival Analysis, Market Basket Analysis and Spatial Point Pattern Analysis within one application. This application is made to be informative and allows potential owners of start-ups to interact with the data embedded within the application, view the visualisation and generate reports based on the selected filters before they embark on setting up a new business.
