To achieve this, extensive data exploration, data cleaning, planning, storyboarding and development of the visualisation is performed. Key components of the visualisation include a bar chart, line chart, stacked chart, combination chart, heatmap, and radar chart. Some key insights that policymakers can derive from the visualisation are how the visitor’s arrival to Macao can affect spending, hotel occupancy rate and the number of hotels in Macao, allowing for better analysis and decision making to stimulate tourism growth. |
