It is the most popular general reference work on the Internet and is ranked among the ten most popular websites. [1] Despite the popularity, we are interested in how academia people, the true professionals, perceive Wikipedia in the following aspects:
- Research and teaching
- Recognition of Wikipedia among colleagues
- Perception on students using Wikipedia
- General quality of Wikipedia.
- Other online contributions made by the same group of academia people.
