Project Objectives
The objective of developing the system is:
- Improve Productivity
- Monitor Business Performance
- Reduce Risk
- Encourage the utilization of IT as an enabler
During the period of the project, the team will conduct user interface test to ensure better usability
and reduce unnecessary learning curve to use the system. The team will also periodically conduct
user acceptance test to ensure that the system performs to requirement.
At the end of the project, the team will assist the client to deploy and configure the system for trial. The team will provide system support for three months after the completion of the project. The client will receive the following:
- CD Installation of the Operation Management System (OPSM)
- System User Manual
Improve Productivity
- All system users will be able to access information simultaneously
- All sales agent will be able to determine inventory level
- Automate manual processes
- Reduce errors caused by unreadable handwritten words
Monitor Business Performance
- Monitor business health
- Identify areas for improvement
Monitor Business Performance
- Enable regular system backup
- Option to create hardcopies for auditing purpose
- Improve security with access control
Monitor Business Performance
- Elimination of language barrier through English-Chinese translation and reduce the resistance to adopt the use of IT
- Create platform for future IT integration
