Venue: Abundant's Office
Duration: 20 mins per user
Objectives:

  • To gather feedback on the user interface of AMS
  • To gather feedback on how much Abundant Management System (AMS) is aligned with the business requirement of Abundant Accounting

Scope (UI Prototype):

  • User Access Module
  • Project Management Module

User Feedback

Project Management Module
1. Create Client view - there could be more than one Shareholder

2. Create Project

  • Assign Employee and reviewer (things that are limited) should be a drop down list
  • can put in the function list
  • (next time) can try auto fill for company
  • Company Category (drop down with an Others option)
  • Business Type - Drop down
  • View dates when mouse hovers over project need to be in dd/mm/yy format (don't need company type)
  • After creating project, use redirect to refresh the page through the function
  • for one or more employee, not reflected (max 2 employees so for now can hard code if using dropdown)
  • Should add checkbox for employee to view his tasks only

3. Calender view

  • (see if end date can be extended harded by one day) so end date is accurate
  • Completed projects should be different colour
  • Edit project ( Date range and assigned employee can change, reviewer)

  • No major difficulty. Require familiarize with button.

  • Color scheme is good

  • Getting familiar with the interface, otherwise it is relatively easy
  • Some buttons can be bigger

2. On the scale of 1-10, how helpful do you think the system is in assisting your work process?

  • The system will be extremely useful to monitor the various project timelines. Tracking the time spent by project/employee will enhance the performance of the employee and provide useful information whether the project is profitable
  • It helps to store a database and us work better

3. On the scale of 1-10, how will you rate the application's interface

  • Overall, the layout is systematic and facilitate
  • Easy to read and understand

4. On the scale of 1-10, how appealing will you rate the application's design?

  • Overall, the layout is systematic and facilitate

Post-Test Questions
1. What were key difficulties faced when testing our system?

  • Minor bugs in creating projects and edit their information after creation.

2. On the scale of 1-10, how helpful do you think the system is in assisting your work process?

  • Excellent in tracking our projects, by auto-generating the timeline and auto-populating the next year project once current year is completed
  • System helps to improve project tracking for company and uploading of expense into QB. It enhanced the uploading process and helps to reduce the time to key in expense, one by one.

3. On the scale of 1-10, how will you rate the application's interface

  • Application’s interface is user-friendly and easy to use/understand
  • Interface improved greatly as compared to previous testing. Format for filing up the client and project information is clearer.

4. On the scale of 1-10, how appealing will you rate the application's design?

  • System has pretty design
