Team Reflection
Stakeholder Management: Although our project is a self-proposed one, stakeholders are as important compared to sponsored projects. The team has learnt that managing expectations and requirements of stakeholders, especially when they differ drastically, is of paramount importance to the progress of the project.
Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail: The schedule, metrics, and all kinds of measurements are only tools to minimise impacts of setbacks or potential consequences. Even though any amount of planning is still insufficient to predict the realistic outcomes, the team has learnt that without a standard protocol to fall back on, it is difficult to ensure a steady progress flow.
