Shoulder & Hip Width
Given approximately the same height and weight,
- Males’ shoulders averaged 3.6cm broader than those of females
- Females’ hips averaged 0.7cm broader than those of males

Center of moment
Center of moment (Cm) is approximately the intersection of the two stress lines across the diagonals of the torso i.e. from the end of one's left shoulder to the end of one's right hip & from from the end of one's right shoulder to the end of one's left hip
Cm = shoulder width / (shoulder width + hip width)
Because males’ thighs are generally less massive than female ones & females’ hips are larger than male ones,

Based on research on over 20,000 Chinese adults over 20,000 Japanese adults, 13,000 Korean adults and 11,000 Taiwanese adults, it has been found that:
- Males are generally taller than females
- Males have broader shoulders than females
- Females have wider hips than males
- Males have a larger center of moment value than females
