Automate some of KTPH Geriatric ward processes or digitalize some of their documents. The Geriatric ward interviews their patient and their caregivers. Must of these interviews are done face to face with filling up of physical forms. This create alot of inefficiency as alot of administrative overhead is incurred with the paper based process. Furthermore, the doctors of various stations will need to refer to all these ill-organized documents when conducting interviews with the patients and caregiver which can be quite frustrating at times. Our team now is also exploring the possibility of using Android tablet solutions to replace some of the forms etc. However we have not firm up the ideas yet because we intend to do more in-depth studies with KTPH side on this.

TEAM SGGives will be creating a platform where business entities can "adopt" a Volunteer Host Organization(VHO), a NVPC partnered non-profit organisation, by making a pledge to donate part of their earnings to the "adopted". We will be developing an Android mobile application whereby users can view the geo-location of nearby NVPC partnered business entities, patronize a particular partner, and capture a QR code given upon a purchase using an in-application function. For each QR code captured, the business partner would then donate a pre-stated amount as part of the pledge. In a nutshell, the business partner will only be donating part of the additional earnings from the business created by our application whereas a user will be able to donate indirectly just by making a conscious lunch decision

SCB has numerous RMs both roaming and stationed in branches. We aim to develop an application which allows customers to make appointments with both groups of RMs.
  1. Queue Management System. Allow customers to get a queue number before reaching the bank. To prevent abuse, only customers within a specified radius of the branch would be allowed to use this function. Additional functions include notifying the bank of the customer’s purpose of visiting the bank to allow for quicker and more personalized service upon customers arrival.
  2. RM appointment booking system. Allows the customer to choose a preferred RM and meeting location. A customer can also use the function to find a nearest RM for more urgent transactions. View the profile of the RM they selected/assigned to meet.
  3. RM Scheduler. To track available RMs, the application will have a scheduler for RMs to fill in their schedule.

Our team is developing a Kinect application to be used with SAP's BPM tool to integrate business processes such as procurement and sales fulfillment with a hands-free user interface. Through a natural user interface using motion gestures and spoken commands, we aim to revolutionize the way how SAP ERP users create sales orders, receive goods or process invoices in SAP's ERP system instead of using the traditional complex and technical user interface usually associated with SAP's ERP systems. Finally, the project will also include an element of Business Intelligence by extending the Kinect's hands-free user interface to browsing data analytics reports generated for management-level users.
