  • Take action immediately to make up for the slow progress
  • Understand the root cause for slow progress
  • Consult supervisor on next action to be taken

50<SM<=90

  • Revise scope for the future iterations
  • Use buffer to make up for the slow progress
  • Analyse the cause of delay to avoid it in the future iterations

90<SM<=110

  • We are roughly on track
  • Calculate the remaining number of buffer days and use it for further iterations if not needed in current iteration
  • Proceed as normal

110<SM<=150

  • Revise scope for the future iterations
  • Use buffer for additional features
  • Analyse the cause of faster progress to avoid it in the future iterations

150<SM

  • Take action immediately to make up for the faster progress
  • Understand the root cause for faster progress
  • Consult supervisor on next action to be taken
