User Testing of Trading and Simulation Phases. The main points of testing:
  • Testing on 3 platforms: Acer Tablet, Motorola Tablet and Emulator
  • Consists of 3 groups of 3 testers and 1 administrator machine
  • Set up at Epiphany Education office at Tai Seng
  • Testers are made up of employees of the company
Summary of Results:
  • Graphics differ on different mediums of testing such as between Motorola Tablet and Acer Tablet despite screen sizes set at 10.1 inches display
  • Simulation Phase for Motorola Tablet extremely laggy
  • Saving and loading of built buildings does not work all the time and it may appear on a different patch in the map when reloaded
  • Trading phase table alignment in "View Offers" and "View Requests"
  • Alignment of bottom taskbar overlapped by tablet taskbar

User Testing of Trading and Simulation Phases & Web Admin Control. The main points of testing:
  • Testing on 2 platforms: Acer Tablet and Emulator
  • Consists of 4 groups of 1 tester and 1 administrator machine
  • Set up at SMU SIS Meeting Room 4-7
  • Testers are made up of employees of the company
Summary of Results:
  • No functional problems – all test cases pass
  • Client was happy with the Trading phase user interface
  • Scrollable map does not work for the Motorola tablet
  • Confusion with regards to round control
  • UT2 has more feedback on usability
