The trade areas are digitised for the counties of ChangHua, Yunlin and Chiayi. With the use of buffer zones, the project will involve extracting the relevant business profile for the client in finding out how the location of their stores can boost their sales performance within the different trade areas. The client will be able to benefit from the digitised map produced so they can further understand their individual outlet trade area profile. Furthermore, POI (Point of Interests) are categorised based on the facility codes and will be classified in the choropleth maps for the three counties. Sales performance of each individual outlet's trade area that falls within the same county is then compared and evaluated to figure how the geographic location and presence of POI can affect the client's sales performance. |
